These published standards apply to the Google Play app NearMe – Yakınındaki İnsanlar (package com.nearmeapp.mobile), operated by NEAR ME MOBIL YAZILIM VE BILISIM TICARET ANONIM SIRKETI.

NearMe – Yakınındaki İnsanlar is a social discovery app for users aged 17 and older. NearMe – Yakınındaki İnsanlar and NEAR ME MOBIL YAZILIM VE BILISIM TICARET ANONIM SIRKETI explicitly prohibit Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in any form. This is a zero-tolerance policy.

NearMe – Yakınındaki İnsanlar is for users aged 17 and older only. Age is declared at signup. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 17 are suspended or permanently removed. The app is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect data from children.

The following are strictly forbidden on NearMe – Yakınındaki İnsanlar and result in immediate account termination:

• Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
• Producing, sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAM
• Sexual communication with or solicitation of a minor (grooming)
• Any conduct intended to lure, meet, or exploit a child for sexual purposes
• Sexualized depictions of children in images, text, or profile content
• Creating or using an account that states or appears to belong to someone under 18

NearMe – Yakınındaki İnsanlar enforces these standards through:

• Mandatory age declaration at signup and blocking of under-17 accounts
• Automated and manual moderation of uploaded profile photos
• In-app report and block tools
• Review of flagged accounts and permanent removal where required
• Reporting confirmed CSAE/CSAM cases to the relevant Turkish authorities and, where applicable, international bodies such as NCMEC, and cooperation with law enforcement
